Needless to say MacShane denies he knew what was going on and had never been contacted by teh charity in the article.therealHJ wrote:The Home Office and former Rotherham MP Dennis MacShane were informed of abuse in 2003. The Home Office were told that the council and the police could not be trusted and MacShane did not reply to a five page letter sent to him.
Worth a read of the Yorkshire Post article, this Rotherham scandal just gets worse and worse

It's no different to any other borough. Because South Yorkshire is poor and pointless, they're taking the fall.

Re: Rotherham
What is it about these provincial backwaters like Halifax that makes the 'men' so obsessed with gang rape?
Is it years of inbreeding or some weird tradition that is passed down from father to son?

How nebulous.
So I'm still allowed to mention gang rape in Halifax and Rotheram in this thread?

Bas, BB has a point that he has been trolled by another poster who chooses not to post in F&G. You need to consider all sides in this.Basualdo wrote:F&G is easy to find if you need to goad.

Re: Rotherham
A report (by someone undoubtedly in the ‘diversity industry) stating that poor misunderstood muslims are being racially abused in the wake of the Rotherham scandal:
http://www.southyorkshiretimes.co.uk/ne ... -1-7187792
Interesting that all those muslims abusing white girls were not accused of racism, but as soon as the shoe is even slightly on the other foot, these accusations appear straight away.

One of the nine Britons detained in Turkey for allegedly trying to cross into Syria is the son of a Labour councillor.
In a statement, Rochdale councillor Shakil Ahmed said he was "shocked, worried and extremely upset" to find out his 21-year-old son Waheed was one of those held by Turkish authorities.

"My son is a good Muslim and his loyalties belong to Britain" - a perfect example of an oxymoron.

So if it had been "My son is a good catholic and his loyalties belong to Britain" would that have been OK in Twingworld?Roy Twing wrote:Kowalski wrote:One of the nine Britons detained in Turkey for allegedly trying to cross into Syria is the son of a Labour councillor.

I expect so, Twingo is a Catholic.
Well more accurately sometimes he claims was dragged up a Catholic and sometimes he claims he wasn't. I bet this time he'll claim he wasn't.
