Friends:
'Arry - naturally. Triffic manager, Top Man. This sprightly young lad is the man that hEngland need. Always willing to have a word with the press, and put an arm around someone's shoulder.
Big Sam. Another Top Man. Vague nerves setting in at TS over the prospect of Big Sam being relegated.
Joe-Say.Breath of fresh air. Box Office. Great value for money. De Leeg needs him. Always right (according to Boozio anyway). Dark forces conspired to get him out of his job, whispering in ears etc (see also: Boozio. He's heard things but disnae want to talk boot them)
Wee Davy Moyes - not sure if he's beloved by the rest of the presenters but Boozio is doing enough pimping for him to make up for that. Sudden revisionism about his time at Yahnahted?
Enemies:
Roy 'Odgson - old duffer, Quinny's nemesis, has funny way of talking (as mocked by hAndy Goldstein of all people!?)
Claudio Ranieri - only piggybacking on Nigel Pearson'a herculean efforts last season OBVIOUSLY. Also says weird shit in press conferences, much to the amusement of the two people at TS who have the most difficulty with the hEnglish language (Gothy and Thicky Quinn). TS presenters starting to get mildly uncomfortable that it looks like Leicester are not just a flash in the pan.
Louis Van Gaal - arrogant forunner. Needs to do the decent thing and DO ONE so that Joe Say can take over. TIME IS RUNNING OUT, stars are aligning etc.
Arsene Wenger - arrogant forunner. Needs to do the decent thing and DO ONE so that Pep can take over. (to be fair this is mostly from hAde but fucking hell he spends about 12 hours a week talking about him).
Pelly Greeny - hapless forunner. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Limbo:
Klopp-o: TS sort of buying into the whole "he's a real character" blurb, look at him running up and down the sidelines like an excited puppy/showing PASHUNNN, but he's still a German so..... could turn at any time.
Pep Gwardiohla - Get the impression that TS don't actually rate him THAT much but as he's seen as a BIG NAME he should be working in the Biggest League in the World (TM). So far they've been pimping him for Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, depending on where the presenter's bias lies (never guess which job hAde is touting him for...). Interesting to see how they react to him when/if he arrives.

The tide is starting to turn on Ranieri. Quinn, Durham, Collymore all not impressed by his antics such as enjoying his job and having a laugh, it seems. As well as being foreign. Team are on the beach, manager hasn't got a clue or something.

What they have jumped into is Ranieri's stock answer to every media question regarding
Can Leicester win the league ?
Can Leicester get in the top four.?
His understandable straight bat answer of
Only interested in getting 40 points ,unfortunately has given the haters something to hit him over the head with
Pity he wasn't English, the station would have lauded his phenomenal success and praised him for taking the pressure of his players. keeping their feet on the ground.
How xenophobic can this station be before they get prosecuted.
Today's Durham rant about Ranieri is a foretaste of criticism to come

If these wankers who deal in facts and real statements had bothered to look, Ranieri said he wants another 39/40 points in the second half of the season. Doesn't seem like he wants the season to end now, does it?delboy1983 wrote:What they have jumped into is Ranieri's stock answer to every media question regarding

How do they decide which forunners they hate? Is there some sort of complex algorithm involved?
Also can't believe I forgot to include Colin Wanker in the friends list.
They're not too keen on Tony Pulis either I think...

Not sure. Wenger is obvious because he's been here long enough and still hasn't rung into Drive or sat down with Big Al for an exclusive and hasn't won any trophies in the past ten years taking out the two he did win because that would ruin the argument. Pellegrini is the same although he's won things but he should win things because he's got loads of money to spend.deisegirl wrote:How do they decide which forunners they hate? We like Klopp because we'd heard of him before he arrived here and looks a bit of a character who'd have classic bantz with Quinny on a Satdee mernin. AVB was a joke figure who spoke English really well but replaced Arry and won more points but didn't lean out of car windows or phone the Moose at 4am to discuss Demba Ba's availablity whilst under contract.
Ho-say is loved because he talks to Big Al and says things about eggs and horses and we all fall about in hysterics. Ranieri though is a clown who should be executed for wanting to get to 40 points and keep a team in relegation trouble last season in the division. Van Garl is mixed- some like him but most don't see him as an improvement on Davie Moyes and he sits in his dugout writing notes instead of showing pashun and shouting like John Sitton or Colin Wanker would do. Hiddink- no-one really cares about him but Butch Wilkins knows him, likes him so he can stay for a while.
Flores was a dreadful appointment but has shown some semblance of being able to win some games so the tide is turning but two draws in a row and his all-that-ness will be called into question and asked why he's in the job when the Cambridge manager has got his coaching badges and an English accent. Remi Garde is a ridiculous choice- doesn't know the league, Timmy should've been given more time and he's Vengur's mate and Vengur hates English football. Bilic is just following on from Big Sam's sterling work and despite getting double the points in his first 20 compared to Allardyce's last 20- West Ham fans should be careful what they wish for, such as winning matches.
Pockertino likes playing the English kids and gets Harry Kane scoring goals but really, Tim and Arry are better. Koeman was good but now hasn't got a clue. Martinez is a myth and has won nothing apart from Redknapp's Cup. Guardiola should join the ranks next season but what's he really won? Anyone could win the league with Barcelona and Bayern Munich and the Premier League takes place every Tuesday on a wet night in Stoke where no-one wins.

Adrian has down downgraded the FA Cup and now calls it a minor trophy, because in 2014 none of the other clubs could be bothered to win it, and as from 2015, the Cup has become too easy to win.

I agree. You could see that by the semi-final line-up of Portsmouth, West Brom, Cardiff and Barnsley. Portsmouth did really, really well to overcome the might of three Championship teams, all of whom relegated Leicester won away matches at.

Was loved by the station and given far more time and praise than others would get. However in the end even Quinn had to stick the boot in.
However purple head never said a bad word and thinks he will be the next England manager.

They also predicted that in Roy Keane first season as Sunderland manager he'd take them down. Few years back Durham also said, at some time around November... " If Wenger can get Arsenal into the top four from here, he's a genius "
