Yeah but the seats vacated at York would be in a right state after those northerners had smeared their filthy backsides all over them.birdie wrote:According to a report I read all those unoccupied reserved seats were from York, which, it seems, was the first stop, and a spokesman for Virgin implied that passengers were at liberty to sit in them until York when the people who had reserved them would be boarding, so, unless the train conductor, or whatever they are called these days, was very bloody minded, no passenger should have been without summat to park their ar*e on. at least as far as York, where I suppose people would also disembark so,leaving empty seats.
Northerners do know how to use lavvies ya know, but then, if a bearded twat parks himself outside of one preventing its use........Reg wrote:Yeah but the seats vacated at York would be in a right state after those northerners had smeared their filthy backsides all over them.birdie wrote:According to a report I read all those unoccupied reserved seats were from York, which, it seems, was the first stop, and a spokesman for Virgin implied that passengers were at liberty to sit in them until York when the people who had reserved them would be boarding, so, unless the train conductor, or whatever they are called these days, was very bloody minded, no passenger should have been without summat to park their ar*e on. at least as far as York, where I suppose people would also disembark so,leaving empty seats.

I'm taking you mean on the forum? Can't say I've had many dealings but the name registers a bell, I remember someone who used to be referred to as 'the landlord' he was from Hull and anywhere else in the country you care to mention, and SWL-Dexter has returned, he was from there I seem to remember.Reg wrote:Ever encounter a poster from here called Gene Hunt?birdie wrote:I lived in Hull until I got married so I think I may have just a wpteensy weensy idea too.Reg wrote:I've lived up north and I know all about what goes on there.birdie wrote:Northerners do know how to use lavvies ya know, but then, if a bearded twat parks himself outside of one preventing its use........Reg wrote:Yeah but the seats vacated at York would be in a right state after those northerners had smeared their filthy backsides all over them.birdie wrote:According to a report I read all those unoccupied reserved seats were from York, which, it seems, was the first stop, and a spokesman for Virgin implied that passengers were at liberty to sit in them until York when the people who had reserved them would be boarding, so, unless the train conductor, or whatever they are called these days, was very bloody minded, no passenger should have been without summat to park their ar*e on. at least as far as York, where I suppose people would also disembark so,leaving empty seats.
If you ran into Gene you'd need a bath afterwards, don't worry about that.birdie wrote:I'm taking you mean on the forum? Believe it or not, we don't have to use Madeley Street Baths on a Friday night anymore.
Alan Brazil and the Pisstank Party with Darren Gough as foreign secretary dressed in a lycra bodysuit wearing a helmet.finchman wrote:SNP are deluded with their out of UK in Europe nonsense, who the fuck can rational jocks vote for??
Why so sure? I'm also thinking of arsey coppers telling people its illegal to film them being twats at demos when I'm sure that's not the caseHillman avenger wrote:An extremely long time.beingsoblase wrote:So, in light of this how long will it be before a law is passed making it illegal to publish CCTV, unauthorized phone photos and video of politicians, in the interest of national security of course.
To be fair Carc , that sound the best option in British politics at the momentcarcinogen wrote:Alan Brazil and the Pisstank Party with Darren Gough as foreign secretary dressed in a lycra bodysuit wearing a helmet.finchman wrote:SNP are deluded with their out of UK in Europe nonsense, who the fuck can rational jocks vote for??
The slapheaded cunt knows there's the double whammy of Labour's slow death and Brexit so he and his family's dependence on the EU gravy train's probably grinding to a halt. The only advantage of Brexit from what I can see.Zippy wrote:The Welsh Windbag appears to be right for once.

No it was Kinnock. John Smith was much more a potential PM than Neil Kinnock - but after 1983 the priority was survival not winning elections. Same will be the case when genuine Labour supporters realise Team Corbyn are leading them down a complete dead end.kancutlawns wrote:Seems that he's trying to get credit for getting rid of Militant in the 1980s and reforming the Labour Party. Thought it was John Smith who reformed it and made it fit for purpose. Kinnokio and his family got on the EU gravy train and this bit of shameless corporatism flies in the face of what he says he achieved. From my understanding of the time, he was pretty left leaning himself and was still unelectable.

John Smith wouldn't have got near the job of leader if the Militant tendency had their way. Corbyn slagged off John Smith in public just the same as he has every other leader (until now). Corbyn's politics motivated far more by hatred of moderate Labour MPs than Tories. Always has been. Why it's so hypocritical for him demand loyalty now.
They'll stumble on with Corbyn in charge & my guess is there'll be an early election & Theresa May will win in a landslide.Steve Hunt wrote:Ralph wrote:No it was Kinnock. Assuming Corbyn wins next week, how do you see things panning out for Labour, Ralph?
