(a) sweet, well-meaning who have no understanding of how politics works; or
(b) rabid, nasty, cultist extremists, who have no understanding of how politics works. In the latter case, that's probably a good thing. Imagine if Seumus Milne was good at his job.

A left-winger who addressed the things people in this country actually give a shit about, rather than the ragbag of SWP/STW obsessions that mark out the Corbyn faction (Israel, "anti-Imperialism", solidarity with shitty despotic regimes, Islamist apologism) might well have cleaned up over the last 14 months, and/or be placed to do so now.

What support does he have beyond the 200k X Factor sign ups ?

He's of no interest or appeal beyond his weirdo cult followers. Feel free to vote him in again though.

The biggest criticism by the PLP is that Corbyn isn't taking on the Tories effectively or putting his message out to the UK.

How can he, when he's got the PLP hounding him on a daily basis? Their comments become a self-fulfilling prophecy on account of their manoeuvres.

I'm wondering why the NEC changed the eligibility for voting for the leadership. It seems that the £3 members at no longer eligible and even those who have paid full Membership will have to pay out another £25 to be able to vote(that's the way it was reported the news) and those who joined after 12th January won't be able to vote.

Can you imagine what Labour would have said had all those who registered to vote in the Referendum had been told they hadn't been registered long enough? So much for the 'democratic party' Emily Thornberry keeps banging on about.

Thornberry is a Corbyn ally. She'll hardly be happy with this either.

I'd have described her as a fat, ugly, Brit-hating fucking harridan myself which is probably why no one's asked me to write a political column in a daily.

He did well to find a Virgin train where there were spare seats; even if he did walk past them to stage his sit-in protest.

Those seats seemed to have cards on the top indicating they were reserved, surely?

You da man Finch. I love your pith. I'm all for socialist twats, but I wouldn't want one to run the fuckin' country. How on earth can a nation have a fucking pacifist as a Prime Minister. Even if you secretly hate war and shooting and loud noises and bombs and shit at least pretend to think war is important if only to deter Putin from dropping a whacking great barrel-bomb of turd onto our heads.

Speaking of Russia, this Chekov vodka is going down nicely.

Regardless of Jezza floor sitting for awhile or not. Floor sitting makes good pics.

CCTV footage released is some seats with reserved stickers and some seats without reserved stickers. Though different times on camera. Mistress Schadenfreude creaming it with Jezza and Branson trying to say right is wrong. 8)

Please investigate as they say they will:

He's been caught out. At best it's spin at worst dishonesty. He's also handed the privatised rail companies a stick to beat him with. All for a crap PR stunt.

So, in light of this how long will it be before a law is passed making it illegal to publish CCTV, unauthorized phone photos and video of politicians, in the interest of national security of course.

If it was a stage managed PR exercise, it was pretty ineptly handled and the Labour Party under Corbyn seems to be emulating UKIP with stupid stunts.

A Corbyn source said a handful of seats had been available, but not two together, and the Labour leader wanted to sit with his wife. As a result he, his wife and team were among a series of other passengers forced to sit or stand in the corridor.

Puts a slightly different complexion on things, don't it? Even if the train had been empty no doubt he would havepersuaded all and sundry to pile into one carriage to make a good photo shoot. Anyone remember the adoring crowds lining the streets when Bliar and Cherieeeeeeee made their first walk to Parliament? Turned out they were all Labour Party workers specially selected to line the footpaths, and they say the camera never lies.
