Heinz Tomato Soup - maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but rarely seen it abroad yet you can get the likes of marmite, Branston pickle pretty easily, and other Heinz products yet no soup?

Campbells doesn't even come close, nor anything else when it comes to tomato soup.

Ainsley Harriott's range is quite nice... I like the red pepper and tomato one and the mushroom one. I don't even eat them that often but it's handy to have a stash in the desk. I normally eat a cold lunch but sometimes you just need hot food. And I'm never going to be queuing for the microwave in our "made by Ryanair" building

I also keep a bag of pea protein powder in the desk and put a spoon of that in, it makes the soup a bit thicker.

Curses to that feeling when you get to the end of the cup and find a big lump of soup powder that hasn't dissolved properly.

Fella I have been working with recently lands back at the office every early afternoon with a cup of soup from EAT. They generally smell delicious and the names conjure up fabulous visions but at £4 or £5 per cup - which is about the size of a medium takeaway coffee cup - I haven't been persuaded to try one yet. Perhaps I'm pre-occupied searching for traces of Mr Flower's recreational activities.

Not soup related but nearly. If you want to stretch a pot noodle, or even disguise its taste, then bash up a bag of crisps and crumble them in into it while its standing full of boiling water.

Pot Noodles are great.

The Russian version is called Doshirak, and is effectively Pot Noodle without any taste. Then there is the Russian Asda (Auchan) version, which costs SEVEN PENCE, and is like eating elastic bands in hot water.

Pot Noodles, therefore, are great.

(You do get a free crossword puzzle in a Doshirak, though)

Which might be worth eating instead, if youre description of the Doshirak is accurate.

If the canning process itself sterilises the food how would that happen?

Anyhow, been grabbing a few tubs of own brand broccoli and stilton from Tesco Express, it's surprisingly okay...tastes of broccoli and stilton.

Not the brightest are you mate?

I was hinting at it being the general cause of your rattiness on a weekend morning.
