Credit where credit is due he's no quitter I'll give him that! how many years is it now that he's been going all the way up there attempting to get a laugh and failing pathetically?. A good gag told right is funny whatever the subject matter is, even politics, but the trouble with Fordey is he's just not funny and never will be that's why he's tried so many different things and been hopeless at the lot.

What I would say Billy, is that while Matt is "telling a joke" at least he's not laughing. I just listened to a bit of him talking to Terry Butcher. As soon as Matt starting giggling manically I switched over.

His "comedy" is cringeworthy and not because it is insightful and raw, but because he is painfully unfunny.

Not especially, but just felt the need to give an honest appraisal. I don't listen to him that often, but I try every now and then. Each time he starts giggling like a lunatic I turn over. I'm sure he is a nice enough bloke, but his interviewing style is intrusive. Not in a cheeky way, but in a overpowering way From what I've seen of his comedy, I don't find it funny at all. He may be a funny bloke as a writer, but he doesn't come across as a performer.
