They were Nasty vile racists cunts before FIFA shit on Saint Beckham et all. Still are even now.
However a still semi pissed Jabba lookalike railing against Elf N SAFETY , corporates (the irony), was a joy to hear, he didn't give a fuck about anything other than freebies.
Will there be Bookies ads on TS2 .........hope so

Talksport 2 need Sky bet on board or need another sponsor?
Sky Bet set to sign up for ABP status
BY BILL BARBER
SKY BET are expected to be announced shortly as the latest bookmaker to sign up for authorised betting partner status.
The Leeds-based firm are set to join Betfair, bet365, BetVictor and 32Red, as well as a host of smaller companies, in accepting terms that will allow them various benefits, principally the right to sponsor races at many British tracks.
The deal will enable the planned launch of new radio station Talksport 2 during the Cheltenham Festival to go ahead as planned.
Sky Bet are the bookmaker sponsor of the station but the intention to broadcast the first shows from the course would have been scuppered without ABP status because Cheltenham is one of the courses that is not giving permission for on-course broadcasting rights to non-ABP backed shows.
Talksport's main channel will also, as usual, broadcast extensively from Cheltenham throughout the festival but even though its output includes shows sponsored by bookmakers that do not have ABP privileges a spokesman from Racecourse Media Group said they were part of deals that were agreed before the ABP dispute broke out.

You need ABP status to advertise at some British Racecourses.

If something goes wrong with being granted APB status does that mean that Brazil could be warned off?

This ABP status is part off the ongoing Horse Racing Levy stuff going on, there's a little bit in the Horse Racing thread. A bit complicated, I mean I'm all over the place on it.

Irani ripped the piss out of Brazil over it live on air. Brazil was none too impressed.
Irani got sacked not long after.
Make of that what you will.

Re: TalkSport2 Station Launch
Just listened now and heard that both the Talksport 1+2 will be having football commentaries at the same time. Think that to offer that variety and the benefits of having a second sports station you would have a talk show as the alternative?
