Fucking remarkable.
I sometimes wonder if Durham is a member of some sort of low grade Oxford Union-style debating society as his ability to come up with angles, arguments and positions like on this issue are remarkable.
I laughed today when he asked a caller, 'Are you really inferring that a drink culture is contributing to England not winning a World Cup?'
I nearly shouted at the radio, 'YES, You pratt, that's exactly what the argument is'.
of course, England may not drink any more than anyone else.
But remembering Durham going apoplectic yesterday about Dier not wanting the ball when marked by up to 3 players and refusing to criticise Stones for hitting a poor pass, I'm surprised he's not picking up on just about anything which might be a contributory factor, including getting pissed or staying out late whilst in the middle of a 2 match series of games.
Durham is the ultimate contrarian.
If the press had said that Rooney / the team having a drink wasn't a problem, Dungham would have been all over it, saying it was.
