I think that about £100 was spent on it (sorry not googling) and the capacity is in the 20,000s. Rossco/Bas, do the games generally sell out at Windsor Park?

Why the fuck STV is showing this is beyond me. A number of years ago they were considering opting out of showing Coronation Street because they wanted to "show more Scottish made programmes." The outcry forced them to back down.

Don't think Spain really want to be here tonight. An utterly pointless match which if England win in will somehow be a vindication of Southgate being made permanent coach. Plus when TS get moist in the gusset come Russia 2018, the [w]anchors will justify their customary ridiculous optimism by saying we beat Spain tonight.

45 minutes we won't get back.

More backwards passing than forwards.

2 England moves; a corner and then a free kick just inside Spain's half end up back at Jo Hart WTF?

Reina might have got a booking but then Vardy and Sterling following through into opponents shins could have been red carded - bad tackles / stupid tackles.

Tyldeslyey / Hoddle doing their best to make a sow's purse out of a pig's ear.

A silent Wembley.

Then that fucking band.

Can't work out what I'm watching; is it like being in a library, a garden centre or maybe a shopping arcade on a quiet Tuesday morning?

How has it come to all of this?

Not watching the 2nd half.

But can just about take James Whale, just. What's he for now?

It was a lot more than that unfortunately, Lawnsy, but it looks a lot less than a hundred was spent, maybe 40 or 50 knicker.
The place is an embarrassment. A pathetic capacity of 18,000 and its still not finished. The Great Wall of China was finished quicker.
We are never going to pull in huge crowds (though we regularly got 30, 40K+ in the 70s and 80s) but 25K was not a target that would be too optimistic even in bad spells and at the minute they could probably sell twice that.
The new South Stand looks as in it holds about 12 people. Access is a local scandal with a huge very deep puddle outside one of the entrances at the weekend causing peole to have to climb over walls to get into the ground and some poor fucker in a wheelchair went arse over tit into it when trying to get through it.

The IFA are worse than a fucken joke. They are to football what Alan Brazil is to running Marathons.

Thanks ten. It's good to see a proper objective summary of the first half that cuts through the one-eyed bullshit of ITV's coverage. If England win by three or four, the irony meter will go into overdrive and the usual tosspotts will find on this significantly longer than the last time we beat Spain and then Germany.

Until things change (and they may not), it'll all come down to 3 group games in about 2 years time.

Frankly, anything that the team does between now and then is meaningless.

How they perform in those 3 games is the ONLY benchmark.

Disagree - Raonic - Djokovic opening set was very high standard. People who watch international friendlies get what they deserve.

Unless Raonic turns things around, I'd say in about 20 minutes.
