Top five English managers

Post by Petingo »

I only ask because of the latest rantngs of Paul Ince.

http://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/the-g ... -n36glk5d0

He has now stopped blaming the fact he is black for his inability to stay employed as manager of a club.....but it is because English managers are discriminated against by top clubs....in England

In particular I loved this here bit.

He added: “It kind of rankles with me. I think among English managers I’m up there with one of the top five.

I laffed at that when I first read it......but then the thought hit me.

He is probably right.....but that is only because of the miserable crop of English managers he is comparing himself to :(

Not that he himself is any good.

FTR....I voted for Wee Eddie.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Gary Rowett is the best English manager in my opinion.

The guy is a miracle worker.

Yeah and putting the option "another boy" directly under the self styled Guv'nor's name maybe isnt the most diplomatic thing to do given Ince's touchiness.

No Neil Warnock. This poll is a farce.
If Arsenal were playing in my back garden, I would draw the curtains.
