Needed money and put everything I had on various bets on Germany winning Euros in 1992.
Even put a bet on Denmark drawing the final just in case.
If anyone remembers the final, the only reason Denmark won was because of save after save by Schmeichel.
Their goal was about the only chance they had in the whole fucking game. And it wasn't even a chance - it was a screamer by Jensen, and probably the first goal he had scored in his life.
I always think of that snooker player - Willie Thorne I think it was - who was heavily in debt to various dodgy characters and bet everything on a snooker match that went the other way.
The additional problem was that he was commentating live on the match, as his world was falling apart...

Bet I do these days is betting over 2.5 goals in a game.
Usually do a £20 acc on four games which brings home around £260.
Chose 5 games on Saturday, and Crewe v Blackpool finished 1-1. Let me down for just shy of £400.
A good bet, I'd recommend it.
