Good stuff about the Prem, RM. Taylor's tribute to Lanning slightly to me overshadowed by his bitterness before. Old Mensur will respect him as of that generation. Some now don't respect their parents.

Bitter old Phil.

I only caught the very end of the interview. Taylor demanding respect yet again? Does leading Icelandic hand claps while your opponent is throwing qualify? I could go on but won't. Destructive, psychotic turtle too screwed up to clean up on a night of such news.

Jimmy told off by Sammi to practice more, maybe the strap on suspended. :(

Time to definitely retire and miss the Gerwyn/en G game.

144 for 4-1. The man really is a god. 119 average, 5 180s, missed D12 for a 9-darter. Price has hit 3 max plus a 174. Oxygen.

Price like a boxer who comes out swinging and catches the opponent with a few hits and thinks he's in with a chance. Gets tagged with a couple of chinners and contest over. Could be a 10-2 from here.

And is. 4 batterings tonight. Quality performances by the winners at least. MvG fell to bits and only averaged 105. Wright and Mike both missed D12 for a 9-darter today, jobbers.

Kyle Anderson (94.95) 10-4 (86) James Richardson
Mensur Suljovic (100.89) 10-9 (97.57) Ian White
Peter Wright (100.79) 10-7 (93.52) Cristo Reyes
James Wilson (93.64) 10-9 (99.23) Mervyn King

Jelle Klaasen (101.11) 10-4 (90.78) Stephen Bunting
Phil Taylor (103.98) 10-3 (94.63) Joe Cullen
James Wade (97.03) 10-3 (87.31) Max Hopp
Michael van Gerwen (105.50) 10-2 (96.59) Gerwyn Price

Carlos and Holden got 6 quarter-finalists... all about the wee bonuses at the bottom now.

How many players will make the premier league? I saw wayne mardle tweet that there could be some changes to the format. I don't think barney deserves a place but he'll get one. It's funny how Andersen always seems to peak in form at the worlds.

I don't know... I'd like there to be 9 core players, with 1 different player added to make up the 10 each week. Say Bunting in Liverpool, Gurney in Belfast, Price in Cardiff etc. to shake it up a bit.

Very sad to hear about Dave Lanning. My all-time favourite commentator across all sport. Sid got all the attention but Lanning was for me.
typically, in his final hours Dave supplied his own final pay-off line.

He said: "I'm off to find Sid."
aww man.

Mvg,Taylor , Anderson, Wright, Lewis and Wade are definites. Probably chisnall. I'd like to see suljovic and klaasen given a go. Klaasen was rubbish last time he was in it but he's a different player now. Van der pas has an outside chance imho

Shame mine and Holden's quality predictions so far should be settled by some random coin tosses. ;)
