Re: talkRADIO Thread
Up but I can't listen. Doh!
On my mobile and it's inaccesiable via the Radio player web page and Tune In Radio app doesn't have talkRADIO listed.
EDIT - Found it. Listed as a US station on tune in radio. Strange.
Anyhow they're talking about IDS resignation.....back to the piss master general for me.

I guess it'll have more callers as more people find it. They really are plugging the phone number.shivah wrote:2 callers in 27 minutes. That's Grunty standard!
Wonder if he'll have any guests on? At least there hasn't been many ads!

Re: talkRADIO Thread
The 2 main topics this morning are the amount of Brits who consider themselves in debt and IDS's resignation. They have had guests about the first topic but none about IDS.
In the last hour they had someone on to talk about what's on TV and a finance news reporter. Paul has a paper reviewer in the studio at the moment.

Re: talkRADIO Thread
Sounds like a slow start caller-wise, but Paul is very good at flying solo and it's broken up with a few in studio guests.
Mind you, it is early in the morning when people are getting ready for work/school - and the ones who aren't are still asleep.

The rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrradio rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrevolution would kill for that volume of traffic. It doesn't reach that level even with his daily arse-lickers calling.shivah wrote:2 callers in 27 minutes. That's Grunty standard!

Gaunt will lose his less hardcore listeners. Last time I saw his listening figures he had 1 million downloads from about 200 podcasts. Which is about 5,000 per show, of course he spun this and said he had a million listeners.Jonathan Grunt wrote:The rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrradio rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrevolution would kill for that volume of traffic. I know it's day 1 and I'll always listen to Galloway but so far it's all a bit too much noise and no substance.
Delaney going on and on with his relentlessly unfunny anecdotes.
2 Goulds covering equal pay in tennis in the most casual, shallow and frankly irritating way for all of a few minutes including committing the cardinal sin of calling matches games ('The men play best of 5 set games).
It all made Saggers sound quite professional agghhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: talkRADIO Thread
Funny you should say that. Iain Lee did say management have given him carte blanche to talk about anything. He reckons it will be six months before they put a stop to that and start talking about the football. Don't say you haven't been warned!great question wrote:The lack of sport is inexcusable!
