First time I've listened to TS2. Fuck me is it bad.
Some bloke saying "offof" the whole time e.g. "offof the pad" "offof the wicket" and dreary "Chris Waddle appalling accent" soundalike, Steve "Stevie" Harmison.
Are they actually in Bangladesh?

Re: Coverage of the cricket in the last few days....
In fairness to talksport2 they are at least covering the games. This is an improvement on no commentary at all. It would take time for the coverage to bed in, so this is dependant on whether they go on to cover more international cricket. It's not going to match TMS and I doubt they expect to.
As to whether they are in Bangladesh, I'm sure Douglas knows the answer. My guess is no though

Re: Coverage of the cricket in the last few days....
They are broadcasting from TV in the studios at tS towers. The BBC were too late in getting their official accreditation or whatever and so were unable to do the ODIs. Guerilla Cricket, who provide an alternative cricket commentary service for ALL England games, were directing everyone on Twitter who were moaning at TMS, to their service.
I suspect tS saw this and thought they would get in and claim their own slice of the market. Because Guerilla Cricket are an internet broadcaster, there are no legal problems with their service as long as they don't broadcast any copyright material (i.e. any of the sound from the TV feed they are watching).
Presumably as a radio broadcaster either tS acquire some rights from somewhere or else they do it and hope no one questions the legality of it. I've not listened to the tS commentary for these 2 games, but John Norman is dull, McKenna is awful and some of the summarisers they've used in the past like Alex Tudor are unlistenable.
Thankfully there is a better alternative out there.
