Do they have local rivals who'll think it's funny taunting them about the crash forever ?

Chapecoense 'fined' after failing to fulfil fixture against Atletico Mineiro despite plane crash

That's a tough league federation in South America

Was a court, will get removed. COMNEBOL awarded the Copa Sudamericana to Chapecoense. Agreement to not play last game.

Dodgy cutting corners job with football team kudos and possible machismo help on flight plans as far as can read from our aviation friends.

Pax weight for fuel is averages of flyers including women and children. Not the same as a charter of a football team. Some will get sent down.

I saw old 'TS Discussion' friend, Matthew Syed's book noted in some comments. His book: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Box-Thin ... 8&qid=&sr= though not just about aviation, using the 'Black Box' title. Most interesting review would concur with many where whom hear him speak with Saggers:

This book has disappointed me; I thought that the author would teach several different ways of thinking in order to learn from mistakes and improve one's progressions in life. But it was actually just a collection of stories with a failure behind them.

I must also admit that after reading the first 90 pages I started skipping half pages, and then even full pages till chapter end because the text was so repetitive and predictable.

The book can basically be summarised in 1 or 2 pages by saying that people and organisations must put a system in place for a) identifying mistakes/failures and b) learning from them to avoid them happening again.

It makes an 'all right' book for those who like stories and an easy read, but not something for me who likes to read interesting, inspiring and educating books.
