Fred Kite: I've got to be off. I can't stay here arguing. I've got a lot to do. Report to the Executive, check up on the pickets.
Mrs. Kite: From what I can see, the only time you ever jolly well *do* any work is when you're on strike.

I liked Octavia.

Not so keen on Fidel.
Now down to the place where he can't get near the fire for Kennedys.... ironically enough.

A great man who for decades stuck two fingers up at the USA and lived to tell the tale (if you get my drift). Even more remarkable given Cuba's proximity to the global bullyboy.

RIP comrade. Thank you for showing the world how to survive and keep your ideals despite having every economic sanction thrown your way.

That says far more about you than it does about Fidel Castro, tick.
He was a very cruel man who brought about much death an misery in the course if personal enrichment. That cannot be avoided, but we must nonetheless pray for his soul, and desist from too much negative comment at this time.

Came back from Cuba two weeks ago. Atsoundingly beautiful but they have nothing while that cunt and his family lorded it up. A barman got $19 per month and a ration book for goods that didn't exist. Just seen Corbyn singing his praises and nearly kicked the telly in.

It is a remarkable and frightening sucess for the media that people are not aware of this man's history. However this really is not the time to be attacking him.
I can only say that he will kill no more people now. He will be judged by God and history .

Ruled for 50 years over a brutal one party state. Torture routine, people 'disappearing' all the time. Thousands of political prisoners, no free speech and gay rights suppressed.

No wonder Tick loved him.

A greater achievement than being a bitter bellend from Wigan, hence the scorn directed at him.

Funny how the right wing mob only care about human rights when it serves as an opportunity to attack a government they were never going to like anyway.

Why am I not surprised. The Tick another 'useful idiot' as a Castro worshipper. The scum who sent his people to slave labour camps for listening to The Beatles, then erected a statue of John Lennon in Havana to attract tourism. Unless something in Cuba is related to tourism or foreign dollars, it is left to rot and crumble. Yet, he was a billionaire.

People who support him are either thick as shite or scum.
Don't always believe what you think, because sometimes its' a load of shite
