Where someone would let it fester and understandably (& justifiably) want to seek revenge, other might use it as a spur to put go far and try desperately to put it behind them. Other might try to blank the whole affair out completely and divorce themselves from anything involved.

Of those who seek revenge, some lives might be so utterly destroyed that they are condemned to relative poverty and lack the means. Of those with the means, well this cunt seems to have not stuck around anywhere too long unless incarcerated and travelled the globe, and in doing so denied those capable of any opportunity.
