He should have stuck to his long held Eurosceptic views & not bowed to establishment pressure. He's be on the winning side today.
If Arsenal were playing in my back garden, I would draw the curtains.

Vote of No Confidence will be put forward by Margeret Hodge and Co. The knives are out for Mr. Scruffy Beardy Man.
Next Monday. Corbyn needs the backing of 38 Labour MPs to stay as leader which is unlikely.

Thought he had huge party support though. Possibly through it's members if not the MPs but would they be able to get rid that easily?

When you gotta go you gotta go. He had a great run and will surely be immortalised among the political heavyweight legends.

Well, we can almost guarantee that the Member for Hackney North won't be telling him to get on his bike.

When will MPs realise they are there to represent the people, not impose their views on the people.

They just don't get it and they won't till they're all voted out one by one and replaced with accountable representatives rather than public school socialist who want to rule rather than represent.

Unfortunately that is not strictly true, otherwise we would be having referendums every week. The people vote for the MPs who represent the party closest to their own political views, and have no choice to put trust in them to make and carry out policies which are a close as possible match to those views. Sometimes it doesn't work out as we would want it to, but that's life and that's the system.
Don't always believe what you think, because sometimes its' a load of shite

I don't think that's strictly true either.

Many traditional working class Labour strongholds seem totally opposed to mass immigration yet the go out and vote for someone intent on flooding them with enrichment and diversity as well as every other minority cause under the sun rather than what they were designed for - working class jobs.

What's the point of M Hodge challenging Corbyn ? It might make her feel better, a cat to kick, but he'll win hands down again

I don't think the MPs would ever have picked him.......I don't know for certain what the procedure for electing him was but as you say, getting rid might be a hard job.

But Corbyn needs to go now along with Cameron.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

Getting his retaliation in before he is chucked out I would wager, the Labour party are a fucking joke.
