Any idiot can post up a temperature reading taken from the local rag. Without any real context or commentary that presents it in a creative, informative or entertaining way, it means nothing at all. That it's 22 degrees is in itself not extraordinary and more so given that we're not experiencing a heatwave that triggered this thread being started in the first place.

Have I gained any great insight that it's 22 sodding degrees in the strategic arsehole of the country? Has it added any value to the forum? Have this improved anyone of us?

This is a different thread to the hot thread.

One man's trash is another's treasure kancut, I'd say the majority of threads do not 'add value to the forum'

He will also be travelling so far more interesting than even the hot thread
