Unless there's some major problem that we don't know about they should just get on with it. People complaining that she's from a banking background - Difficult to pick someone with relevant knowledge that wouldn't have a conflict of interest.

Call me a cynic, but I think this could well be the plan.

I thought the whole reason they appointed someone from a banking/legal background rather than someone with relevant expertise was so there was no chance of her having a connection to the people she'd be investigating. Didn't work did it!
