Depends Ghost, shaved peccer, is good on salads and where you want cheese to be an accent to compliment your dish o the day, where as grated is at some point gonna infuse a sauce by melting into or combining with flavours various.

The upshot is, how much peccer on your breath do you think you can get away with?

Pecrorino is lovely with simple spaghetti,

Lots of very good olive oil, garlic and black pepper, maybe a tiny bit of chilie, all fried up, but don't burn/brown, coat the spaghetti and I would shave my peccer over that, with fresh Fawlty.

You can even chuck in some fresh shrimp if you want.

But to be nice, everything has to be fresh.

Perfect 2nd course, takes minutes.

Grate, obviously.

Parmesan is for shaving but not Pecorino.

I have just had some Pecorino, after my steak. 8)

The best Pecorino I've ever had was one with peppercorns, which was delicious.

What, that their homeless have cultured paletes? Sounds okay to me. A bit better than Belfast where our indigent suckle on Buckfast and Tayto Cheese and Onion.
