Wisdom teeth

Post by Zippy »

Finally getting mine taken out next week after a lengthy wait, and not a day too soon. These bastards have a lot to answer for - they've contributed to everything from earaches to back pain.

Anyone else rid themselves of their wisdom teeth? Any gruesome stories to share? :)

They can be bastards and because they are softer than other teeth they are more prone to causing problems. I've had three of mine out, and one was very low in the gum, and the dentist had to dig it out. Didn't feel him doing that but a few hours later it was agony.

Good luck, hope everything goes smoothlh.

I just take antibiotics and painkillers every few years I get them and no lasting problems.
Please don't hoover up all the bollocks for yourself. Leave some for others.

I've had all mine out. Two were routine, two weren't and I had a very odd experience with them.

I had a couple out about 3 years ago Zip, not to unduly worry you pal but it was blisteringly intense agony for a week afterwards.

All 4 of mine were impacted

Had them whipped out under general anaesthetic. Looked like i'd been kicked in the face by a horse for several days afterwards.

5/7 would recommend.
