Do kids still play conkers nowadays? I used to keep mine in my cellar so they went nice and hard and were tough to beat . Probably not allowed now in pc britain

Nothing to do with PC Britain. Kids just haven't grown up playing conkers.

For some reason they seem to prefer computers to conkers.

The EU Health and Safety Executive now states that any kid playing conkers, has to wear a crash helmet to BS 6658, eye protectors EN 166, and steel gauntlets.

Several schools have banned conkers over the last 5 or 6 years even if kids wear armour and full visor.

ps conkers are very good at keeping spiders out of the house.

Apparently Kankers's's conkers need regular dusting with cornflour to prevent "nut sweat"

Does the same apply to jumping ramps on a bike , or doing handstands on a skateboard ?
