Graham French, a journeyman pro with Luton who did three years porridge for shooting a bloke in a pub, he came back under the assumed name Graham Lafite and played a few games for Southport FC just before they were replaced in the league by Wigan Athletic in 1978.

Holland is a not uncommon name in Ireland.

Everton's scout in Ireland in the 80s was a chap name of Pat Munster.

Mike England, Alan Brazil and Joe Jordan are three old time footballers.
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.
