Your three favourite cities in which to live?

Post by Roquetas »

After a four-day jaunt in St Petersburg (my third visit), it's absolutely up there at no 1 in places I want to live, so much so that wheels are churning to do just that. Might take a year, but life's too short.

Anyway...the three cities I would move to tomorrow are:

St Petersburg
New York
Prague
All eyes and ears...

1 out of 3, maude.

York is very nice. Can't say I'm overly keen on the other two.

To answer the question, none. The older I get, the more I detest urban life. I would never live in a city - working in one is bad enough.
If Arsenal were playing in my back garden, I would draw the curtains.

I admire your loyalty, but, Leeds is horrible and Bradford is scary.

I'd never live in a city. I'm sure that for a lot of people. London is a horrible city to live in. Cold, vast and very lonely. Are people in this country mesmerised by the image of lights, the huge choices on offer and the fast, exciting lifestyle? Think it's a fallacy. I work in London, think it's OK but there's no way in a million years I'd want to live there. Like visiting it on a weekend but don't like staying there on work. Did a few weeks back and fucking hated it. Stuck in a hotel up in the middle of nowhere, by Old Street.

The last one's fucking awesome. Perfect all year round climate, amazing Mexican food and a generally beautiful city.

Agree with pugs. Perth is shit.

I don't want to live in any city but if I had to, maybe Prague. I'd be non stop masturbating though.
