So instead of on threads, why not have a forum members survey. Why not? Three simple questions:

1. Notin says the forum is quiet. Why is that?

2. What do you think can attract more posters?

3. What can improve the forum?

Answers on here are welcome or PM Mark or myself or even email [email protected]. Replies by midnight Sunday please. Thanks in advance

1- think it's quiet ish, but it's been worse. Probably just the time of year or circumstance

2- use of email to all users? Once a month? Twitter only captures those that follow....how about a snap shot email to those addresses of registered members

3- more tits and fanny snaps

1. The forum is fine. Certainly busier than its been in a couple of years.

2. Free money, guns and pornography.

3. Seems simple enough to me:
- Keep Pandemonium as Pandemonium
- Shift all threads which are not worthy of Pandemonium to Open Chat and promote the increased use of that section to stop people bitching that threads get the Pandy treatment
- Permaban Reg

1. It's a little quieter than previously, partly due to quite a few long-term posters vanishing or taking a hiatus. Reasons for this are debatable.

2. No idea.

No quieter than "normal."There is a lack of "new blood" which I suppose reduces the forum to a regular core of posters, creating the illusion of it being quiet....Individual sections are busy though..D&D, TS Discussion for example.People tend to stay within these sections.

2. What do you think can attract more posters?

A new banner ( too grey!!)..The fact that posters have to post in the hello and welcome section I guess is off putting.And the fact that any new posters are automatically accused of being multis -Not the most welcoming scenario.New sections-The sections we have cater for those already here rather than encouraging new posters to "join in"...mix it up a bit..create some more "relevant" sections and bin those hardly used

3. What can improve the forum?
Impartial moderation..Moderators not pursuing petty individual vendettas, agendas etc.Moderators not using personal info to "score points" fair treatment for all posters...if rules are transgressed, implement them across the board.Stop Douglas spamming TS Discussion!!, Zero tolerance to racism, Etc Etc Etc.....Loads can probably "improve" the forum, but it's all subjective innit?
