Is a vw beetle a girls car? My car is on its last legs and I'm tempted to get one, think they look pretty cool. If not maybe a golf or Yaris. I do lots of miles so want something fairly economical.

Yes a Beetle is a bird's motor.
Any motor vaguely modern (beside the obvious sorts) should return decent economy, particularly if you're doing a lot of motorway miles.

Yep along with the Micra, Fiat 500, the KA, Smart and Mini, although I've noticed more and more women having 4x4s, problem is they have no idea how to drive or park them.

DS3 is an excellent car by all accounts. Think it won Car of the Year a few years back.

What's your budget? What will you be using it for? Is it just you or do you have kids?
