Re: The end of Summer
Summer's been a joke this year, a few hot days, a lot of rainy days but mainly just cloudy cool days. Lots of days where it rains then the sun comes out at 7pm when the kids are going to bed. There's still room for improvement in the hopes of an "Indian Summer", with waring days forecast for later this month and sometimes October stays warm. sometimes

I wouldn't hold out too many hopes, minx. I put the heater on in my office this morning
Pretty crap summer, overall.
If Arsenal were playing in my back garden, I would draw the curtains.

Re: The end of Summer
Possibly glamping at a birthday party in two weeks, camping if not. Great times anyway. Bewtiful socalled Indian summer evenings, cunts still in shorts and err chilling away from them.
Or a fiery wind off the North Sea and hey still party on and party on.
Love all seasons, all have their reasons, Autumn is great as beware the chill coming and wrap up warm..

Re: The end of Summer
one of the best on record this year, but a nip in the air now
heading to usa next week to chase the sun
take focus estate? dull but dependable plus mpg
truck, tough, dependable, 4 wheel drive, could buy truck tent for it, bad mpg
old porsches and vw's.....but hit in wallet this summer with them, dropped another off today for an engine out plus blew engine on type 3 a month ago
low km jag x type 3 litre awd....mpg not bad for here, but a saloon, likely to break at some point being a jag or a mondeo in drag
hoping to get down oregon coast, california and then inland towards vegas
old romantic in me says 69 912 targa

Re: The end of Summer
Its been a lovely few days here, I didnt see much of it as I'm on nights this week, but was hoping for a bit of an Indian summer to carry on, especially as because of the shifts this is one of my long weekends. Got up this afternoon for the start of the weekend, result? Tipping down.minx wrote:It's been a lovely few days I had washing hung out and everything

Re: The end of Summer
Up until a few days ago it's been 90 degrees here in sunny Indiana. Temperature was hotter in September than August.
Hate this humidity and glad to see summer go. Now I have freezing days to look forward to and no more mowing the grass.
I detest mowing, it's such a pointless task because a few days later the grass needs cutting again. End of rant.
