Got the week after next off. Thinking of going away for four to five days to get away from home. Thinking of maybe Barcelona or Valencia. Or Riga, Tallinn or krakow. Worried Riga or Tallinn will be full of stag dos. Probably more to do in Barcelona or krakow for that length of time.

Just leaving for our holiday now. Overnight in Edinburgh, fly to London tomorrow then out to Washington D.C. on Sunday. Three days later it's Vegas, baby.

I've been to both Reno and Vegas, and don't get why people like them.

There are so many great places to visit in the US, why choose those\/

Not really a holiday but my job has sent me to San Antonio for the weekend. 4 hours of work tomorrow then back to Indy. At least I get to see the Alamo today. Crazy early start though flew out of Indy at 6am.

Just work trips. Stayed in shit hotels full of rednecks and as you noted, the place stinks of smoke.

Was it you and Dinger talking about Lee Vining recently? Went through there 10 years ago, almost to the day.

Is Belfast worth visiting? I've got next week off and fancy getting away for a few days, thought maybe see Belfast and Derry and nice beaches and lakes if there are any. I've heard they've done up Belfast recently. I might take my golf clubs too.

Yeah I liked it too, I enjoyed walking across a salt flat there. I've always wanted to do that.

Aye, don't go anywhere near the crib if there's a chance of wind or 'low' cloud. Anglesey is well worth a visit and try and take in Bala and Betws y Coed.
