I've stopped drinking booze

The only taste I was sorry to see go was cider, nothing like it on a hot summers day.

A bit of experimenting and I've found that 50% apple juice from concentrate and 50% soda water is pretty bang on taste wise.

Happy days.

I tried cutting down, within a few weeks I was back to where I was - so I've knocked it on the head. I don't miss it at all.

It hit me on Sunday when we went out to lunch and my son said "dad can you play Nerf wars with me later on" and I said "sure"

Ordinarily I'd have had a few glasses at lunch and probably nodded off when I got back home and it wouldn't have happened. I went out thinking "thank fuck, I'm not going to have that horrible sluggish feeling all afternoon"
