Virgin Radio UK Launch

Post by mark »

So TalkBUSINESS has fallen by the DAB wayside and Virgin Radio UK is returning. Are we expecting lots of Oldfield, Hillage, Gong and perhaps a programme dedicated to Front Line records?
Expected launch date is 30th March.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I predict it will be shite - even worse than talkSPORT

Is this a new station or is Absolute changing its name back?
Alex Young, Howard Kendall, Andy King, Timmy Cahill, Dixie Dean and Mike Parry.....we'll never see the likes of them again.

New, Pet. They have agreed with Branson that they can use the name.

Absolute Radio is owned by The Times of India.

Too right. A vanity project that could never be accomplished with such a small audience reach.
