I can do more impressions than him, and they sound more like who they are supposed to represent than his.

And there's not much competition in the 'leading political comedian' department at present. Short of a small cabal of other 'right on' so-called comedians who are as equally unfunny as the fat one himself.

So plenty to look forward to including his Autumn comedy tour.
Is his new impression Clarence the Cross Eyes Lion by any chance? It will compliment his only other impression of yesterday's politician Ed Miliband -someone who no one will remember in a few years time. Then again he could be working on his third impression - one of someone else who no one will remember in a few years. Himself :D
He does loads mate, he's regarded as the leading political comedian at the moment too.
You'll have to forgive us all Creds mate it's just that Matt Forde's impressions are obviously so bad we just don't know when he's doing them probably hence why we think he can only do Ed Miliband.

If he sold out Edinburgh I want to know how he's managing to blackmail so many people into turning up?, what the bloody hell has he got over them all it's obviously something BIG for them to turn up and sit there in silence for an hour being bored to death.
Nevertheless I will always admire your loyalty and spirit Credsey mate. :)

Review – Matt Forde: Get The Political Party StartedReview – Matt Forde: Get The Political Party Started

Image

He’s a nice guy, this chap…

And funny…

And his show is political and intelligent and humourous…

Why wouldn’t I give it 5 Stars…

It was exactly what I thought it would be and more. The impressions were good, Milliband especially, the thought process was endearing and any audience member who goes to the show knows what they are coming to witness so have prepared themselves.

I think the general public of the UK and Ireland have all become more interested in politics. We see them everywhere now ranting and raving and promising us this and that…Matt takes this material and makes it funny.

From describing Blair as a rockstar, to the SNP/Scottish independence struggle, all the material content is all there presented as a parcel…on Christmas morning. He just gives it life. It’s great! He is swiftly becoming one of the UK’s finest political comedians. Just don’t start the conversation ‘which is better (or more interesting) for the working class man Sport or Politics?

Go see his show and see if you agree or disagree…any thought which is provoking is of benefit right?

So again what exactly is Frauds best joke ccreds mate ?

Describing Blair as a rock star is hardly ground breaking comedy material.

Btw never heard of that reviewer.Hardly a household name .

And I was led to believe that this was the year of the Fraud. When is it all going to happen ?

He's currently being hyped up to the max by the likes of the BBC on the grounds his act can't do it by itself. If I'm fair, and I like to think I am over his appalling act, it's not even fit for the average beginners comedy circuit - Maybe just about at a push.

I've seen some of the hopefuls doing these comedy rounds and to say they die an agonising death on stage is an understatement. Most of them are off before the bottles start landing on stage because they limit the performance to about two minutes.

Forde can at least last beyond this tragic point by today's standards so is acclaimed as a top comic. Whizzer and Chips was a better comic.

Cyril and M4rkb you both need to take a listen of Fordey's comedy intro in his political shows. You don't know what you're missing mate/mates. They're on his website.

Also on his tour he has Birmingham on the list on 15th October, but if you don't get a ticket for that you can see him in the more civilised half of the midlands on 10th November in Nottingham. And by the looks of it it looks a packed tour, loads of gigs. Gigs coming out of his ears.

I agree about the BBC hype. The BBC's actions boils down to giving these people large amounts of publicity even though they have very little talent.A policy much like our good friend ccreds in that if you shout it out loud enough and build them up to be something, then people will start believing you,

That dire show he did with Rory Bremner was a prime example how they try to work this or getting their established inner circle comedy mates to give them a leg up. Personally Frauds level is scraping onto childrens television at best.

Extra-Time with Matt Forde

Post by fattmaude »

Don't call it a comeback ...

Yes, I have heard some great news today, news to make a certain mod feel very humble indeed. Matt Forde is due to make his triumphant return to Extra-Time two weeks today. I have a source VERY close to the big man who has confirmed me this.

Since Carlos spitefully moved my thread to previous presenters, Matt has been ripping it up to rapturous crowds the country over. Edinburgh was a tour de force by all accounts, and his interview with Tony Blair made national news. He's riding a crest of a wave right now, so expect buoyant wit mixed in with cutting edge sporting chat. He's back baby.

I have refused to even recognise the scab previous presenters thread and I urge all other Matt fans on the board to do the same. Rejoice, Fordey is back to save talkSPORT 8)

What do you have to say for yourself Carlos ?
