Wonder who heard PM during the week when the treatment of obesity was in the news?

They had an item on the subject and had two call-in contributors. One was a woman who had achieved dramatic weight loss, but only after a few unsuccessful attempts including having her jaws wired. Now she works supporting (!) people trying to lose weight.

The other contributor, to my amazement, was Parry. He started by saying obesity should not be treated as a disability, which I don't have a problem with. His definition of a disability was something which caused you to need help from others to live your life. OK. He argued that anyone who is obese can solve it, simply by eating less. Harsh, and debatable, but there you go.

Then he went on to say how he was offended by the number of scooters he encounters in town centres, being used by people who are overweight/obese. In his view, only disabled people should have them. Characteristically, it didn't seem to have occurred to him that these people might be initially disabled, but as is often the case, their disability prevents exercise, and they become overweight or obese. No doubt then that their condition is aggravated, but how typical it is of him to fail to grasp the true nature of what he talks about.

The bloke on LBC this morning made a better point than all that fat-arsed excuse mongering you've penned above.

Someone teetering on the brink of obesity would be better off piling on the few extra pounds required to make him tip the balance and then be able to claim for being obese as well as accept all the many benefits that come with being disabled.

If you've got a fattish kids, you'd also be well advised to give the overweight lump a few more chip butties rather than do the decent thing of kicking his fat arse round the block till he loses weight.

As I keep saying, and as you keep proving, the left do nothing but make excuses for other people who are often to dim to think of these excuses themselves (as well as voting labour of course)

with Townsend the subject of childhood obesity came up.
He stated on air that parents should not allow their kids to play with fat kids
as they will end up fat as well.
I sent a text to the show which was read out and if I remember correctly I said.

Any fat kids should ostracised by fit and healthy kids.

The problem with Parry is that (well he has many problems but life is to short to go into them all) he talks shit just to get a reaction and therefore get his profile up. His nearly died because of his life style so unless he came across on the interview and said that he has had experience of what being fat is like and the harm it can do then to be honest he just shut the fuck up.

How is a child playing with a fat child cause the other on to become weight. If a child is over weight it is the parents fault full stop.

Are these two different stories then? They were discussing whether fatties should be classed as disabled once they got to a certain weight. This bloke rang in and said what I posted. I agree with him.

Yep and Mark Dolan.

It's all on Twatter, Grunt was accusing all his old colleagues "of working (for Fubar) and not getting paid".

The show he did though was comedy gold, simply because it showed all his limitations in radio and as a brrrrrrroadcaster......

The day he left he blamed the tubes for not getting to the studio. Someone put up a map showing that the studios were like a mile away from St Pancras Station, so why didn't the fat bastard a/ get a taxi or b/ walk?

On top of that, this was a day after his Radio Today podcast appearance where he claimed he was the Greatest Broadcaster in Britain and showed distain as to why he was not on the airwaves any more.
