Caught some of his show, it was mainly him talking to fellow 'comedians'. He had Mickey Flanagan on last night. I like Mills, and it was pretty decent. Good to get him away from that twat Colin Murray at least.

I listened for a bit and it was self-indulgent rubbish. It was like Alan Brazil referring to everyone by their first names only, except this time it was stand-ups rather than over-the-hill sportsfolk. Shame, as I don't mind Mills - doesn't usually take himself too seriously.

He's an amusing fellow in a laid back way but his Sunday show is dreadful. I've heard it three times and it's only accessible to those within the stand-up profession. Hugely self-indulgent.

He talks to comedians but basically without written material (usually written by someone else) they are actually boring cunts without any personality whatsoever.

Paul Merton for instance doesn't have a personality. He's a boring fuck.

Despite Slurring Mills, it's actually a different sort of show. The sort of thing the BBC probably did on local radio (GLR?) 20 years ago. It funnily enough has perhaps too much material, at odds with the breakfast show with M Cat Ross, which has none whatsoever.
