Did you hear the follow up, the following night?

It appears that Andy is not Andy but someone else - Lee now knows who he is.

The bloke has an agenda apparently.

Regardless of that, I thought he was completely out of order because he made out he was talking in Iain's best interest but his tone and attitude did not suggest that at all. He talked with a complete absence of empathy or compassion for Lee who I think dealt very patiently with him.

Of course, when we hear that there are other agendas going on, so we are not really being given the full picture and its a bit difficult to make reasoned judgements.

Regardless of all of the above, it was quite a gripping 11 minutes of radio.

The guy comes across as someone in the business and is jealous of Iain's success. Maybe it's someone who worked with him some time ago? Like you say, his tone was not one of concern. It was more like a "haha you've ****ed up your career" attitude.

Gaunty couldn't get on national radio, even as a caller on Talkradio.

Great call last Friday night to the Iain Lee show two muppets called Darren and Johnny mistakenly rang talkRADIO thinking they'd rang Goldstein & Cundy on talkSPORT, having discovered they'd rang talkRADIO they thought they'd hang around a while and mess around with a prank call. Sadly for them they were up against Iain Lee who quickly worked out what was going on and then decided to hang them out to dry, brilliantly funny. :D :D :D

Does anyone have the audio of Iain Lee show with Gerry a Parkinson's suffer falling on the floor and his nurses taking over half hour to get to him?

Meant to be pretty harrowing stuff!

Yeah, he put it up as a podcast - look the Late Nights with Iain Lee podcast up and it'll be in the last dozen, a bonus podcast called Gerry.

The October 29 podcast.

The frustrating thing about that call was not them taking half an hour to get to him but getting to him earlier on at least 2 occasions and doing nowt about it and not one word of sympathetic conversation with Gerry.

The dick at the end has since sarcastically thanked Gerry for 'calling a national radio station' which he suggested would lead to 'me losing my job'.

Gerry actually calls every night. The problem on this occasion was that when he made his call, he was on the floor wet with his own piss.

What started as a mildy interesting situation turned into a classic case of negligent care, the likes of which you hear about in the papers and which give the industry a bad name. (I say this acknowledging the fantastic care my Aunt received in the last months of her life when she suffered from alzheimers)

The Chief Executive of the company that owns the care home is on the case but the e-mail she sent was full of the usual corporate cliches and made no apology to Gerry and didn't go anywhere near accepting any culpability.

Iain will give further news this week and says that he will be inviting the company onto the show, although he doesn't reckon they'll do so.

Cheers Billy, I'll give it a listen. Haven't listened to Iain much since the Trump win. Thought it best to let Iain calm down for a while. :)

I'm putting some of the clips originally posted in the one hour clip above on the pages separately then I know they will play.

This one is a guy calling himself Dirk Van Der-Van from the Netherlands, he rang up last Friday night during calls straight to air time he was damn good an'all.

Last night's show was really funny - proper laugh out loud at times, often darkly. Nigel from Maidstone not knowing the date of Christmas was like something Ricky Gervais might have written.

He wasn't on last night. He was ill apparently, so Bob Mills covered his show.

Just noticed Iain's Twitter account profile say "got a job" at the end. Wonder if he is on his way elsewhere?

Isn't that just point scoring in a never ending and futile conflict between Iain Lee and Jon Gaunt? If Iain wants some constructive criticism, I'd say ignore the fat old has been racist idiot and spend your time and energy on better things. God knows there are enough morons on this forum that seem to devote half their lives to following the exploits of a guy that no one in the real world remembers or probably had even heard of in the first place.
