He puts out a load of fucking tosh so others can have a right good laugh at it. Shame Matt Forde can't take the same approach.
I get what you mean he doesn't give a monkey's fuck what anyone thinks about him and just carries on regardless and that's admirable. I wonder if he knows his singing is awful and his guitar playing is him just strumming the strings that anyone can do. His drumming doesn't look that bad but then again he chooses numbers that are easy to drum to but yea his antics amuse many and let's be honest not many of us would dare do it.

To be honest Billy, I don't think it's a case of not caring. He seems to suffer from autism to some degree. He doesn't pick up on indifference, rudeness or sarcasm; he just ploughs on regardless. Iain Lee had to say point blank that the person Nigel was corresponding with, was not Miley Cyrus' ex-boyfriend. At this point Nigel said "oh well, it's just a bit of fun". The thought that somebody might have been having him on hadn't occurred to him.

In a way, I think he's better off in his own little world. He wouldn't be aware of the day to day shit that the rest of us worry about. :)

Yes you're probably right the more I think about it, you definitely can't insult him that's for sure because nothing much said to him sinks in, he's very game to try anything even though he's pretty hopeless at everything. I loved how he thought his 50cc motorcycle was powerful and dangerous because he's had a new chain and cogs fitted.

Nigel cycles 20 miles to a park for an arranged shag and then finds he's too knackered to do it.

I have to say Nigel's Man United have won the cup song was the cheesiest song I've ever heard in my entire life. But that said I could not make one any worse myself so you have to give Nigel credit for his particularly rare talent.

Have you ever read his twitter header he calls himself "a singer, drummer, organist, composer and performer" the guy really thinks he's a talent. He's sang some crap in his time but that Man Utd song was surely the worst ever.

I must admit I went red in the face with embarrasment purely on his behalf. God it was truly awful, and that's being kind.

But all said, we need characters like him or we're stuck with right load of clone-like boring bastards with not an ounce of entertainment in them.

I'd love to see him on BGT. I might even watch it.
