Touch and go to be honest.
On the one hand, I don't believe that a single one of these nappy wearing public school boys represents me.
On the other hand, as Colin says, when you are one of the lucky few in human history to be allowed a say in who governs it seems churlish to deliberately abstain

Re: Will You Be Voting?
I'll vote, but I've not decided who for yet.
Miliband is a pillock and Cameron is a posh boy twat, so disregarding the smaller nutter parties that just leaves the Greens who I know nothing about or Lib Dem. Actually out of the 3 main party leaders Clegg looks the most trustworthy.

Aye , i'll be voting .
Even though i despise politics and politicians , i'm a firm believer that if I can't be arsed to vote , I shouldn't really moan about whatever any Government does .
I'm also a firm believer that there should be a 'None of the above' box to put my 'X' in , as i believe has already been mentioned in this thread , none of the mainstream parties represent me anymore

Yeah, it's unlikely they'd ever add a "None of the above" box but you could sortof do it if you started a "None of the above" party.Salem wrote:I'm also a firm believer that there should be a 'None of the above' box to put my 'X' in , as i believe has already been mentioned in this thread , none of the mainstream parties represent me anymore

Re: Will You Be Voting?
If you're not going to vote just spoil your paper, it actually counts as a vote, imagine the message it would send if enough people bothered to spoil their paper to win a majority?

Re: Will You Be Voting?
I will be.
As M4Colin says, it’s usually a ‘least worst’ <labour being worst of course> option, (which is a pretty sad state of affairs) but this time there is a possible seed of change, and I will be voting for that seed.
My own long term preference though, would be, as I’ve mentioned several times, is an option for the none of the above party.

Re: Will You Be Voting?
Yes and I will be voting UKIP
I think they would be atrocious in Government, but both the major parties need a massive kick in the bollocks - and voting UKIP is the only way to do it. They can laugh off votes going to minor parties - but if one party steals a massive amount of share from them, they will be shitting themselves as to what will happen in 5 years time. Then they might stop being complacent and actually do some fucking good for the country.
Cunts.

Re: Will You Be Voting?
If you have no preference which of the main parties gets in, that is a reasonable stance to take. However, if you have one party which in your opinion would be a bigger disaster than the other one, then it's a dangerous vote.colinthewarriormonkey wrote:Yes and I will be voting UKIP

Re: Will You Be Voting?
I've voted tactically in the past (the 'least worst' tactic), but I think, as Colin suggests, the time has come to show the mainstream parties that they can no longer be complacent, - it's a different country now ('thanks' to their actions over recent decades) and trying to hog the middle ground isn't good enough.al growler wrote:If you have no preference which of the main parties gets in, that is a reasonable stance to take. By voting for them you're saying "I approve of what you do, carry on doing it"
Well I don't approve of what they do, these cunts are in it to feather their own nests and nothing more - fuck the taxpayers.
If we don't send a message that their number is up and we're not going to pay for their cushy little game anymore, then they'll have to buck their ideas up.
5 years of that twat Miliband in power is a small price to pay if we are going to get some real conviction politicans in, in the future.
