With just 100 days to May 7th & new polls coming out on a daily basis, might as well start this thread.

Latest set of polls don't look too bad for the Tories (amazingly).

I do agree with Hillman in that I think we will have two general elections this year.

He's not just a BBC reporter he's the BBC's political editor. Seems odd that so many of their high profile staff & management are ex Conservative Party activists. It seems to be impacting on their coverage.

Hard to say, isn't it?
Unless we know differently, all we know is what he tells us. So if he, for example, leaves out some juicy negative while reporting on the Tories, we'd be none the wiser.
Not that I'm saying he has. And if he supports the Tories, I have enough trust in the BBC that he couldn't just independently fiddle what he reports. Whereas with other media, I don't think there are checks and balances on that kind of thing.
What annoys me is that when people see a reporter/presenter who they think is a "leftie" they seem to either not know or trust the oversight process.

Very entertaining, - he complains that this government is taking privatisation too far, but won't even say that his party would reduce the present figure.

And how he has the brass neck to go about "nobody gave this government permission...." after what his lot did last time on certain issues, is beyond me.

Burnham is a first clas twat, he is trying to make us believe that the 4.4% of services provided by the private sector under Labour were good but the additional 1.5% this government added is bad

As for Labour telling bare face lies, here's a leaflet on immigration about how they are going to be tough on immigration. David Lamy has just tweeted Surprised this is a Labour flyer. We're a pro-immigration party: let's not race to the bottom trying to out-kip UKIP.

Assuming that is a genuine labour leaflet, it is almost amusing that a party would consider it a feather in their cap (in the eyes of the public) to address non-english speaking public sector workers.
20 years ago, we would all have laughed at the notion that ‘frontline’ public sector staff would be employed if they couldn't speak English, - as with so many other factors, the mass immigration/multiculturalism experiment has turned the country insane.
What is even more insane is the unbelievable lack of self-awareness (or perhaps knowledge that labours voters are mostly stupid) to criticise the tories for ‘losing control of the borders’.
Unbelievable disdain for the public.
