Did DK bring up Tomlinson's former dalliance with the National Front, or is embarrassing and dodgy youthful political allegiance only ever held against you if youre not a paid up member of the current leftist establishment?

I think where celebrity puff pieces are concerned, anything remotely controversial is off limits. A tinpot station like tS wants as many c-list celebs as they can get hold of, and once there they are duty bound to flatter them enough to ensure they might deign to come back again.
