Haven't been listening to TS very much the last couple of weeks but I have noticed some of the presenters are working themselves into a right state in regards of Garf not being announced as manager. Can't we just fast forward to the bit where they're ranting and raving about how his appointment shows how little imagination the FA had in appointing him, he doesn't have a proventrackrecordatthehighestlevel, is an FA yes man etc.

They just need a scapegoat before England's next game they are a bit concerned Wenger might retire at the end of the season and they need someone to fire their venom at Gareth would seem to fit the bill.

Quinny and pishtank have been filling their plus fours with indignation that a five man selection committee are meeting to decide on Gaz being named as the permanent manager. Graham Le Saux's inclusion irks their ire as much as the ridiculous formalities and timescale as they dislike him on account of Robbie Fowler waving his arse cheeks in his direction some 18 years ago.

Good article by 'Henry' Winter in Tuesday's Times suggesting Garf should be interviewing the FA for the job, not the other way around. To this point, I think Garf is the one who lacks the imagination for setting his sights so low as to apply for the job.

It's not an issue but in the simplistic and lazy world of TS presenters it's a FUCKING DISGRACE. I mean, imagine interviewing someone who you hastily had to put in charge because the previous bloke made his job untenable after one game ten days before the next match, giving him a couple more matches then deciding you need to hear a bit more about his plans, his ideas etc. He was appointed on a temporary basis and now is looking to be there on a permanent basis. They could let him go at any point now but with a long contract worth millions it's a bit more difficult so are naturally making sure he's what they want.

Hardly ground breaking or insulting practice, just normal employment dealings. BUT THEY'VE BROUGHT IN GRAEME LE SAUX!!?? HAS HE PLAYED THE GAME AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL? HIS NAME SOUNDS A BIT FRENCH, TOO.
