Good old Andy

Post by SeanNW8 »

Will make for good listening come 1.05pm.

Think he'll come up with "I guess the ref gave an honest decision and we just hope things even themselves up during the season"

Or will he go into meltdown.

I know what my money's on......

I'll take your money...

My guess is he'll be frustrated but won't explode principally because Chelsea played okay and should've scored a bucket load, unfortunately the mistakes (ref's & GK's) were on this occasion decisive and shouldn't have been.

It was a shocking decision. Probably the worst of the season.
So I guess he's entitled to go ballistic.
But Chelsea like the other big clubs do get the majority of 50/50 decisions which go in their favour.

Given Costa should have been sent off 3 times already this season, Chelsea can't have any complaints.

It was shocking when viewed by replay in slow mo from a different angle.

It happened on the break, the ref was miles away and in real time it really looks like Cahill gets caught out instead of being kicked from behind (twice).

Defender/manager appeals, go to TV ref or ref goes to monitor to view replay, free kick awarded and goal disallowed.

"I'm fascinated by peoples' agendas" says POGOA. A man so embittered he struggled to get his words out; then again he's rarely word perfect. :)

I do like Andy.

He can be an bitter, bell-end occasionally ; but he does take on board criticism and often admits when he's wrong or thought something through. He also has a mind of his own and often will tell a cúnt when they are being one which has to be admired rather than cosying up like the rest of the station seems to do. Although I can't think of an example of the top of my head.

Nowt fucking wrong with Andy the grumpy old shite. He's like Robin from the original Batman. Says something completely reactionary and/or stupid but then allows himself to be corrected by Batman (Hawksbee) and learns from the experience.

Andy is the best thing on talkSPORT.

Not in itself a great achievement, but he would be the best thing on most other radio stations too.
