Hull - City of Culture

Post by Reg »

Just listening to this in the radio, and it seems that most of Hull's artistic tradition in recent times involves nudity and obscenity of one sort or another.

Could Gene-o give us a preview of his planned contribution?

I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895

Captain Blackadder: I then leapt on the opportunity to test you. I asked if he'd been to one of the great universities, Oxford, Cambridge, or Hull.
Nurse Mary: Well?
Captain Blackadder: You failed to spot that only two of those are great Universities.
Nurse Mary: Swine!
General Melchett: That's right! Oxford's a complete dump!

When we played 'ull years ago, probably lost as per,, we missed the train home, so we tried to pull the local talent (this is around 93 ish).

Being a bunch of ugly fuckers we failed, apart from Simon; turns out the girl he had his disco biscuits for wasn't a girl after all, she had a dick and balls, when the locals informed him of this his response was "nice tits tho"

Can't really argue with that.

Sorry it wor Grimsby.
