You are so fucking correct. I happened to see Mastermind this week and one woman's specialist subject was, wait for it, wait for it ... 'The X-Files'. Humanity is officially fucking doomed. Good grief. I am almost tempted to contact 'CJ' off Eggheads and ask him to sodomize me to death and then throw me into a canal in Amsterdam. Almost ...Shedboy wrote:That should be consigned to the bottomless pit of shite tv programmes. William G. The appalling, dumbed-down modern day version of Mastermind can accompany it into the pit.

Yes, down the pan, at a rapid rate. What would YOUR specialist subject be? "The Life and Times of Adrian Durham?", "Ex footballers who are drunken cunts working in the british media?"....oh the list could go on and on, it's almost worthy of a thread but I can't be fucking arsed.The Ghost of Alex Higgins wrote:Mastermind is still going?

Not strictly relevant but;
Decades ago, when Mastermind was hard, one contestant accepted for the programme told the producers what his, rather obscure, specialist subject was.
Off they went to find the experts to write the questions. The trouble was, his subject was so obscure that he was the only known expert.

Was the contestant a certain Darren Gough? And was the subject: "Darren Gough, my life as a thick cunt?". Oh well, our loss I guess.VeritasVincit wrote:Not strictly relevant but;
