God it's a hard one for me. Jury still out, but I err toward cunt the more I see and hear. Then I think, oh surely he can't be such of a cunt, he's just being a bit of a pantomime villian. Get him and Danny Mills together and it's the biggest cuntfest going. I pretty much only listen the Guardian Football Weekly Podcast now if I want some footy views and opinion. Five Live is totally unlistenable, unlike Talksport, which is at least listenable for 3 minutes per day or in two 3 minute blocks at different times of the day if you are feeling brave.

Murphy is a meathead, like Carragher - offers no opinions of substance. G. Nev used to be good but since he's been back on Sky he seems to have been neutered somewhat by his disasters with Valencia and England.

Scholes, McManaman and Keane are the only ones who make an effort.

I've lived in Norfolk since the age of 3 but refuuze to talk like them. Just kidding. But I do resist. It's fucking awful. I lived in the US for ages and only reverted into yank whenever necessary, ie: Water v Walder when asking for some H2O. Fuck shite diaclect Norfolk, lazy.

The most terrible thing? And perhaps it's just me because I'am picky and passable, with regards to a physically beautiful Norfolk female specimen? When they open their gob and say; 'Alroight Bouye?'

Have not heard enough of Murphy. Thought he sounded alright - among the midden that is talkSHITE - but then heard some iffy comments when commentating about 'divers' and 'foreigners' when he was co-commentating, or at least I thought it was him.

Not that I am offended by those words, but he seemed to be going down the xenophobic route that British players were not guilty of diving.

He is just what that programme needs.

There is a touch of the John Giles/Eamon Dunphy about him which makes the football analysis on Irish TV better than we see on English TV.
