They start with one main (usually dull) topic which covers roughly 80% of callers. Tonight it was Pep being nasty to some BBC journalist.

Other callers tend to be Man United fans from miles away, one posh bloke who supports Arsenal, several lower league fans who ring in to say their club never gets any coverage and it's only the top clubs who ever have callers and the regular "I've been a fan since I was 7 in 1965 and remember playing 12 games a week and sharing a pint with Bobby Moore".
