Those of you who go on FB will know what I'm on about, those annoying popup things that once you click to hide they come back next time you go on etc.
I found this nice little tool that you can install in your browser, the next time you go on FB it pops up (Once) and you click in the tick boxes what things you don't want to see on your page, click save and thats it, I gave it a try and so far itb works great. :)

Until you've seen RTE in action you've no idea how shitty a national broadcaster can be :(

The only time I watched RTE was during the Olympics years ago when Michelle Smith won a gold medal, and it was covered with the kind of objectivity and restraint that talkSPORT would display if England won the World Cup Final 10-0 against Germany, with 'Arry as manager and Wayne scoring a treble hat-trick and Joe Buttocks getting the tenth from a goal kick.

If I remember rightly her husband was coaching her and he had been banned for drugs, and then she was banned for tampering with a sample. But unfortunately I wasn't in Ireland when that happened.

She is now a barrister apparently.

She won three gold medals and there was one hell of a party each time.

There was a lot of "No no this can't possibly be true.." and generally it was brushed under the carpet after the drug test dodginess. Since then the meeja have obviously felt a bit sheepish about their reaction, because when a boxer got sent home from Rio for failing a drugs test they went to town on him, "disgraceful!!" etc. I read at least one article where a journo said he was ashamed of how he got caught up in the Michelle Smith hype in 96 when a number of international colleagues were saying something dodgy was going on..
