photoshop anternatives?

Can anyone suggest something decent to edit photos with? and maybe add some text or something but nothing major, I just need to get some files ready for print and have no clue :cry:

Paint Shop Pro (Version 7). Kinda old school. I use it. You'll have to Torrent it or search around...

Cool thanks, I was kind of hoping to find a proper (legal) copy though. I could always find copy of PS online as well but I would use a legal copy or a free one. There are some browser based ones like pixlr.com but it doesn't allow me to export pdfs which it what I need for the printer :evil: It needs to be 300 resolution pdf with print colours... print24.co.uk

You need Gimp. It's a free open source alternative to photoshop. It's not as user friendly, but is just as powerful a tool.
