Post by black_guardian »

Just picked up a Bosch model but never had one before and would like to know which are the better all round detergents to use for cleaning drives/paving etc.

Are they good for cleaning the underside of cars that have salt and slush or will it make the rusting process worse.

For getting rid of the algae on block paving, the only thing to use if you can get hold of it is sodium hypochlorite - red label.

I've never used it for that but you should remove the salt/mud/slush as that'll stick and definitely corrode more rapidly than water alone, with enough mains pressure a water lance might be good enough but a jet wash definitely will.
