Would I notice it if I uninstalled it?
Mrs Z likes IE and it's been closing unexpectedly lately. One of the fixes appears to be uninstall Silverlight and Java and then reinstall?
What do you reckon, and I know IE is shite.

What do you / Mrs Z use silverlight for?
I only use it for Skygo - so I would miss it.

No idea, I assumed it was just something that was on my PC to enable me access web pages that use it, and that I might not be able to access some. If it might be causing the IE crash I will ditch it and see what happens.the rotary club wrote:What do you / Mrs Z use silverlight for?

Re: Silverlight
I think it's used for certain video streaming sites??
If you uninstall it and later need it, the site that needs it will prompt you to install it and you can easily install it again.
As for Java. When I reinstalled windows 4 to 5 months ago I decided I'd not install Java and see how long I could go before I need it. I've not needed it yet.

Wouldn't use IE, but Mrs Z wants it, and of course she is the boss.
