I tried to post tonight using my ipad, but it just froze.
Just tried it again now, and same again - it allows me to type a word or two, then freezes.

Perhaps you need to do the old 'hold the home and shut down button at the same time for 19/15 seconds' thing, till the big white Apple come up and it sort of reboots itself, I hVe to do that sometimes when I take the ear phone out.

I have emailed the top team at tapatalk for some clarification. Need to know how tapatalk manages re-directs to find out if people need to point at talkFORUM.org or talkFORUM.co.uk as they are both registered on tapatalk.

Did some tidying up on tapatalk which might have improved things a bit. Also there is an upgrade available so will have a look at that this weekend as it may need a few minutes downtime to install.

The whole site is much much faster since moving host. 'View my posts' now works in under 2 minutes. Good work Mark.

All we need now is the search feature put back.

Doing a test rebuild of the search index at the moment. If it goes ok I might try it on the main forum tonight.
The WC section is tucked away now and I'll back it up for a restore in case we are still around in 2018.
I need to do a tidy up of 100+ page threads as I can see that a few have built up recently.
Also got a test install of the latest tapatalk upgrade on the test server. If that doesn't creak then I will get it installed on the main forum.

A the moment the main index is just short of 6 million words posted available to the search, I'd expect it to blast through that barrier with ease.
And it contains just over 165,000 individual "words".
